The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Florida Atlantic University in Jupiter will present a lecture by Steve Clemons, the editor-at-large ofĀ The HillĀ magazine, on Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 7 p.m. in the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute complex at FAUā€™s John D. MacArthur Campus,Ā 5353 Parkside Dr., inĀ Jupiter.

ā€œWashingtonā€™s Floating World: How Politics in Our Nationā€™s Capital Has Become the Worldā€™s Most Important and Watched Theaterā€ will examine how U.S. politics and policies are being overturned and recast and the attention the United States is receiving from other countries around the world.

Clemons is a foreign policy and politics contributor to MSNBC and is proprietor of the political blog, ā€œThe Washington Note.ā€ He serves as a senior fellow and the founder of the American Strategy ą£ą£Ö±²„Šć at the New America Foundation, a centrist think tank in Washington D.C., where he previously served as executive vice president. He writes and speaks frequently about the D.C. political scene and foreign policy and national security issues, as well as domestic and global economic-policy challenges.
