U-Rise at FAU Jupiter Accepting Applications

Applications are now open for à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã interested in FAU’s new Undergraduate Research Training Initiative for Student Enhancement (U-RISE) program funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This program aims to promote diversity in biomedical science by engaging à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã in a customized research-intensive undergraduate experience.

U-RISE will be held on FAU’s Jupiter Campus in coordination with the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College. However, à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã from all campuses and majors related to biomedical research are encouraged to apply.

U-RISE is seeking à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã who will be starting their second year at FAU in the fall or classify as sophomores based on credit hours. Students accepted into this program will be admitted into research-intensive U-RISE courses and workshops, and receive funding that covers tuition, travel, and lab supplies.

Students will receive an annual stipend of $11 thousand.
